Please check these FAQs before you contact us - we are all full-time university students so it may take us a while to reply!

When is the race?
The race begins at 10.30am on 19th May 2024. Registration will close at 10.15am, in time for the pre-race briefing.

Where is the race?
Royal Veterinary College, Hawkshead Lane, Hertfordshire, AL9 7TA

How do I reach the venue?
Limited parking is available on site. The campus can also be reached from Potters Bar station via footpath, which is a 30-40 minute walk. We will be running a shuttle bus service from Potters Bar station to the campus, opening doors at 9am and leaving when filled - please stay tuned for final details. There will be an hourly shuttle service back to Potters Bar after the event. All of this information will be sent to you before the event.

Is there an age limit?

16 years old. This has been decided as part of our race permit and is non-negotiable.

How much does the race cost to enter?

Online entries:
5km £10 for affiliated and £12 for non-affiliated club runners;
10km £12 for affiliated and £14 for non-affiliated club runners.
To keep costs down and maximise donations for our charity, tickets will be subject to a small booking fee.

Can I run with my dog?
No. Unfortunately, the landowner cannot give us permission to allow dogs on the course due to the presence of livestock. This is because the course also uses private land as well as public footpaths.

I've signed up for the 10km, but I want to enter the 5km instead. What should I do?
Collect your race number as normal, which will be colour-coded according to the original distance entered. Please email us after the race, within 24 hours, and we will correct your online results. You will not be eligible for a prize if you win.

I am injured – can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, we will not give refunds unless the event is cancelled.
